Brandon Michael Vieth, 29, of Cashton, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 4, 2026.
Brandon was born on May 20, 1997, to Todd and Karen (Hoeth) Vieth. He graduated from Cashton High School with the Class of 2015 before earning a degree in Agricultural Business from Western Technical College.
Brandon married the love of his life, Michelle (Dewitz) Vieth, on March 28, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cashton. Together they were building the life they had always dreamed of, recently beginning the process of purchasing their own farm outside of Osseo. Farming was his passion. Above all, Brandon was a devoted husband and an extraordinary father. He treasured every moment with his beloved son, Archer, who was his constant little buddy, proudly riding alongside his dad on the tractor and dreaming of growing up to be just like him. Brandon eagerly anticipated the arrival of their second son, already looking forward to expanding the family that meant everything to him.
Brandon joined the Genoa - Harmony Fire Department shortly after graduating high school before continuing his service with the Cashton Fire Department. He quickly became a well respected member of the team and a true asset to the department, known throughout the community for his kindness, and willingness to help others.
Though his life was tragically cut short following a bee sting at the age of 29, Brandon will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his tireless work ethic, his kind heart, and the joy he found in the simple blessings of faith, farming, and home.
Brandon is survived by his wife Michelle; son Archer with another son on the way; parents, Karen Vieth and Todd and Sherry Vieth; Siblings Logan, Nick, Cass and Zach; mother and father-in-law Nancy and Timothy Dewitz; brothers and sister-in-law Matthew (Nicole) and Benjamin Dewitz; grandmothers Colleen Hoeth, and Sharon Unseth; along with many other family and friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Duane Hoeth, Roger and Olive Vieth, Truman and Mary Unseth and his Uncle Michael Vieth.
Funeral services for Brandon will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton. Pastor Amanda Schultz will officiate. There will be a visitation Friday, September 18, 2026, 4;00-7:00 P.M. at the Torkelson Funeral Home, 720 Wisconsin St., Cashton, WI. Visitation will also be held Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
