Life As I See it
December 14, 2022
Struggling through the deep snow only added to my misery. It had been a long, rough day at Woodlawn Country
School. First of all, I struggled with the hectograph attempting to make some decent copies for little students to
color for Christmas. I was looking for a treat in my dinner pail, but there wasn't even a crumb from a cookie to be
had. How could Mom not give me something to bring me joy? I coveted Betty's chocolate brownie as she munched
away with a smile on her face.
