My daughter recently made some soft giant pretzels. She found a great recipe in the Taste of Home “Copycat Restaurant Favorites”. The recipe says to use a bread machine, but my daughter made it without the machine.

Soft Giant Pretzels

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water (70 to 80 degrees)

3 cups all-purpose flour

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1-1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

2 quarts water

1/2 cup baking soda

Coarse salt
