Robert "Bobby" N. Dahlen, 74, of Cashton, WI, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua, WI.

Bobby was born March 22, 1948, to Norman and Myrtle (Johnson) Dahlen in Viroqua, WI, and graduated from Westby high school in 1966. He had always loved farming with his parents and was proud to take over the family farm once they retired. He was baptized and a lifetime member of North Coon Prairie Church and for many years he assisted with the lawn care and maintenance at both North Coon Prairie and Coon Prairie Cemeteries.

Bobby's pride and joy was the assortment of John Deere Toy Model tractors and the old-time music collection he built up. He loved going to dances and listening to music. He enjoyed going bowling, shooting in dart leagues, and attending local tractor pulls, where he had fun competing a few times. If you ever met Bobby out and about and asked him how things were going, you knew that his response would always be, "I'm finer than frog's hair."

Bobby is survived by his brother, Monte (Linda) Dahlen of Westby, WI; sister, Ann (Roger) Stefferud of Westby, WI, nieces and nephews, Matthew (Liz) Dahlen, Tim (Trisha) Dahlen, Andrew (Sarah) Dahlen, Angie (Dave) Hemker, Dan (Kelly) Stefferud, Steve (Marissa) Stefferud; along with many great nieces, nephews, and his many Amish friends who he loved to help with their transportation needs.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, July 19, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at North Coon Prairie Lutheran Church in Newry, WI. Pastor Dave Sorenson officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Family and friends were invited for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Donuts and coffee were served after the funeral for all to enjoy.

Memorials may be given to the North Coon Prairie Lutheran Church in Bobby's name. The family would like to thank the helpful staff at Scenic Bluffs Health Center of Cashton and Aspen Place in Viroqua, WI, for the genuine care they gave to Bobby over the years.
