The old barn located at the corner of Melvina and Valley Streets is gone. The Trescher family agreed to remove the tenuous structure after the Village granted approval to allow the building of a newer garage/shed (seen in the background) further back on the property. A few old barn boards were removed and salvaged before the demolition.
