There are some sounds, like a hard rain hammering a metal roof with boisterous claps of thunder accompanying blinding lightening, that can be deafeningly uninvited in certain situations. That same tin roof, with a lighter rain and low distant rumbles of thunder, may be more pleasing to the ears and promote a trans-like state of being that may result in an afternoon nap.
