Bowdy Dempsey pitched six, shut-out innings in a win over Necedah.
The Cashton Eagles kicked off Regional play with a shut-out victory over Necedah last Thursday, May 26, at Sparta.
The Eagles put four runs across in the bottom of the first inning and recorded 10 hits for the game, including a triple by Connor Butzler.
Butzler led off the Eagles half of the first inning with a base hit. After stealing second, Bowdy Dempsey drove him home with a one-out single, to start the scoring. That was just the start of the inning.
