Cashton 12 - Brookwood 2

Sarah Schroeder struck out 11 and gave up just two runs on two hits over six innings in a 12-2, Scenic Bluffs Conference win over Brookwood on April 11. The Cashton freshman was hit for a double in the fifth, but that was made null as the only hit in the inning that also featured three strikeouts over four at-bats.

Grace Leis walked and stole her way around the bags for Cashton’s first run in the top of the first inning to give the Eagles an early, 1-0 lead.
