Baseball falls short at Bangor

Cashton 1 – Bangor 7

Bangor opened the scoring in the bottom of the third inning last Monday, April 3, on their home diamond, to take a 2-0 lead over the Eagles. The Cardinals extended it to a 7-0 lead with a three-run sixth to up end Cashton 7-1.

Gavyn Wuerzberger had the only RBI for the Eagles, scoring Jacob Huntzicker with one away in the top of the seventh inning. Huntzicker singled to lead off the inning. Cashton stranded bases loaded to end the game.
