The Cashton boys' hoops squad dominated the first half last Thursday, Dec. 16, against a scrappy Necedah group, but had to stave off a furious comeback try by the Cardinals in the second to win 61-51.
The Eagles seized a 35-17 lead in the first half, showing patience against a half-court, zone trap defense and got a bundle of easy chances.
