After 16 months of researching, planning, and designing, the Cashton Elementary School begun being powered by a new rooftop solar array on October 19th. The new 166-panel array will generate roughly 25% of the annual electricity consumption of the Elementary building. It is estimated that all the electricity produced will be used within the building and not sent to the power grid.
