The early results of the 2020 census are in and the Village of Cashton has grown.

According the new figures, Cashton has increased from a total population of 1102 in 2010 to 1158 in 2020. Not all small communities in our area saw the same growth. The Village of Melvina dropped slightly from 104 to 93, and Norwalk saw a decrease of 27, from 638 to 611.

While the Town of Wilton saw a decline in population, the Village of Wilton grew 6 percent, up from 504 to 532.
