Amy Lee (Iverson) Simonson
September 8, 2021
Amy Lee (Iverson) Simonson, 40, of Cashton, WI, passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Amy was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, to Kevin and Pam (Ives) Iverson, April 11, 1981.
If you asked Amy what should be said about her in her obituary she would say, tell them the truth, I am opinionated and stubborn; and my kids are my world!
When Amy walked into the room you knew it. She was a spunky, spitfire who was little and loud, just like her music. She had a tricky side to her that her family and friends appreciated. She also had a heart of gold and would sprinkle kindness wherever she went. Being a free spirit, Amy always left a lasting impression; and she will be missed by many.
Amy leaves behind three children, Paul Kilfoyle, Ceara Kilfoyle and Hannah Simonson; parents, Pam (Bobby) Kast and Kevin (Dawna) Iverson; a sister, Tracy (Daniel) Woolhouse; stepsisters, Amy (Erik) Swiggum, and Amanda (Aaron) Nemec; Amy's sidekicks (2 of the troublesome trio), Amanda (Alex) Thayer and Megan (Jesus) Sanchez; special aunt, Candy Ives; her fur baby, Kesha; along with many, many more loving family and friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her siblings, Kevin Iverson Jr., Stacey Iverson, Ashly Iverson, and Calvin "Bud" Iverson; grandparents, Vera and Wallace Wang, Marvin and Vera Iverson and Donald Carson.
A Celebration of life for Amy will be held Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton, WI. The celebration will begin at 2:00 p.m. and conclude with a few words by Pastor Bob Streeter at 6:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Moen Cemetery, rural Cashton.
