Richard "Ricky" John Janick Jr.

Richard "Ricky" John Janick Jr., 27, of Cashton, WI, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021. Ricky was born March 1, 1994, in Sparta, WI, to Patty Wehe and Richard J. Janick Sr.

Ricky had a love for animals, mostly dogs, and dogs were mutually fond of Ricky. He had a passion for skateboarding and could ride with the best of them. Many would not agree with Ricky's hard rap music genre; but he was a music lover of all kinds and found it to be a great escape when he needed it. Hunting season with his grandpa Jerry on the back 40 acres was one of Ricky's favorite places to be. He was quite a hunter with a good shot.

Family and friends will never forget his infectious laughter. He could make the whole room full of people laugh with his jokes and pranks. When he would laugh, his mom would automatically laugh, even if she didn't know why. King Julian and a character from "Frozen" were two of his best impressions and he was great at it. Ricky and his brothers were talented at pulling pranks on people around them and they had so much fun together.

For the last six years, Ricky's favorite thing to do was to be with his daughter Elliana. Taking her to the park and walking the dogs were things they looked forward to doing together. He taught her to dance and together they were awesome "flossers."

Ricky is survived by his mom, Patty (Micah Butler) Flick; daughter, Elliana Marie Janick; brothers, Blake Flick, Zackary Flick, Jacob Flick, Austin Janick and Dalton Janick; dad, Rick Janick; stepdad, Ken (Denise) Flick; aunt and godmother, Pauline (Nate) Byom; grandparents, Beth and Jerry Hemmersbach and Carol and Mike Wehe; along with other relatives and friends.

Ricky was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vern and Marge Janick.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, 4:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton, WI. Father Michael Klos will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Online condolences may be offered at
