Dig for a Day

Dan talking to the kids at the Cashton Library about their experience.

Cashton Science Teacher Dan Hanley (above) and his wife Lorraine took a trip out west this summer to attend a “Dig for a Day” at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center in Thermopolis, Wyoming. This site is an active dig site where they have been finding dinosaur bones for over 100 years and worked with the local paleontologist to look for bones. The Hanleys uncovered a cervical bone from a diplodocus during their time there.
