Janice Marie Frederick, 79, of Cashton, WI, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, at her home in Cashton, WI. Janice was born to Edmund and Tillie Bartle in their home in La Crosse, WI on August 26, 1941. She married her first husband Leland Felch and he preceded her in death. She then married Lloyd Frederick on August 1, 1970.

Janice enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She enjoyed playing scrabble, cribbage and various card games. She could be seen walking around town and stopping into the bar, even though she didn't drink alcohol, to play video poker. She also enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her children, Chris (Jolene) Felch of Cashton, Babette (James) Roessler of New Berlin, WI, Dewey Frederick and Beth Frederick of Cashton, John Frederick of Sparta, WI and Becky (Jon Dalton) Frederick of Black River Falls, WI. She is also survived by her sisters, Judy Pfaff of Sparta, WI, Elizabeth (Arland) Matson of Kenosha, WI, Jean (Gary) Jerome of La Crosse. Brothers, Richard Bartle of La Crosse, Doug (Carol) Bartle of Littlefield, TX and Daniel Bartle of Burkburnett, Texas. Grandchildren Aaron and Crystal Felch, Joshua and Jasmine Felch, Christopher Schmit, Dustin Mack, Mariah Galstad and Leah Roessler, Josh Brink and Audree Kinnunen, Nick Frederick and Victoria Shepard, Tony Stagman, Jeremy and Mandy Dalton, Seth and Trentin Frederick, 6 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren and 1 step great, great grandchild; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her husbands Leland Felch and Lloyd Frederick, sons Tony Felch and Jerry Frederick, brothers Bill, LeRoy and Larry Bartle, sisters Joyce Hazelett and Pam Bartle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cashton. Father Michael Klos will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pine Hollow Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation Wednesday, June 16, 2021, beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary and concluding at 7:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton.
