Concerns aired over new street layout and park keys
June 9, 2021
The Cashton Village Board met last Wednesday, June 2 for its regular monthly meeting.
Village resident, Frank Leis addressed the board to start the meeting with concerns about the new "bump outs" added to a pair of Main Street intersections that include South Street and Wisconsin Street.
Board members indicated the changes were made to address safety concerns. The goal of the new design is to shorten the length of crosswalks for the uncommonly wide streets, and to slow down traffic.
