Gooey Butter Cake

2-1/2 cups flour

1-3/4 cups sugar

2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter, melted

3 eggs

1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups powdered sugar

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
