Discussion of park schedule lead to debate

 

PUTTING THE PIECES BACK TOGETHER: Playground equipment is being relocated at the Cashton Park. With most of the puzzle roughed in it is expected to be permanently installed soon.

A proposal to consider holding off on curb and gutter and paving for a substantial portion of Park Street, including parking lots, met some opposition from the Cashton Village Board last Wednesday, May 5.

Public Works director, Dave Bekkum asked board members what their feeling were on the idea, pointing out leaving streets unpaved over one winter helps create a better roadbed and has benefited recent projects in the village.
