Eighteen Monroe County men left Wednesday from Sparta for induction into the armed forces. From Cashton were Donald Janzen, Willard Brueggen, and Arnold Haugen.

The annual Spring Clean-up will be conducted Tuesday, May 15. Please place you rubbish in containers near the curb so they can be picked up by the trucker.
