When the Eagles traveled to Bangor last Friday, April 30, it seemed like anything but a usual meeting between the Scenic Bluffs Conference perennial power Cardinals and the Cashton squad. The Eagles stepped onto the grid iron with an impressive 5-0 record and momentum to believe an upset was possible. But with the first half winding down Bangor had taken a commanding 21-0 lead and it appeared the Eagles would be heading home again empty handed.
