My wife Bobbie and I have lived in Portland Township for 15 years and we have 4 children. My wife's mother, Terry Mickelson and her grandmother Beverly Erickson and the late Robert Erickson still reside in Portland.

I enjoy small town country living. I am thankful that Portland provides a safe environment for my friends, neighbors and children. When I hear the phrase "God's Country" Portland fits that bill.
