Rita C. Barry, 97, of Norwalk, WI, passed away at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation center in Sparta, Wisconsin, on March 2nd, 2021. She was born September 11, 1923 to Anton and Emma (Schreier) Hericks. She was united in marriage to Gerald Barry at St. Mary's Ridge on October 24th, 1945. Rita loved being able to raise her five children up on St. Mary's Ridge. Her and her husband spent many of their years farming up there as well. She enjoyed spending her time gardening when the weather permitted, and crocheting, embroidering, and completing puzzles when it did not.

Rita is survived by five children, Jim (Linda) Barry of Norwalk and their two children, Brian (Holly) Barry, Libby (Kyle) Hauser; Jane Flock of Cashton and their children, Jeff and Todd (Jane) Flock; Jeanice Morrison of Sparta, WI, and her son, Robert (Linda) Morrison, Julie (John) Field of Rockland and children, Brad (Judy) Biever; Brent (April) Biever; Brody (Jessie) Biever; Joan (David) Peters of Cashton and their kids, Quincy Peters; and Casey (Kjiersten) Peters; Sister in Law Ann Schreier; along with 25 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents; brothers Jerome (Sally) Schreier, Gerald Schreier, and Leonard (Joan) Schreier; sister Cecelia (LaVerne) Hemmersbach and son-in-law, LaMont "Butch" Flock.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 6th, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the Nativity of The Virgin Mary Catholic Church on St. Mary's Ridge, WI. Father Michael Klos will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation Saturday, March 6th, 2021 9-11 at the church.
