Cashton's O'Neil takes third in tough overtime loss at Sectionals

Cashton's Colin O'Neil works on an escape against Lancaster's Dustin Tydrich during the 160 pound quarterfinal match at Saturday's sectional meet in Mineral Point. O'Neil won with a 10-1 major decision.

The Cashton Eagles traveled to Mineral Point on Saturday February 6 where Ethan Klinkner, Colin O'Neil and Austin Culpitt wrestled for their chance to go to the State Tournament.

There was some tough competition and all three of them hit the mat ready to wrestle. Ethan Klinkner and Austin Culpitt wrestled hard their 2 matches but came up short on both. Both boys faced some touch competition but should be proud of getting to the Sectional Tournament their first year of High School wrestling...
