When Trick-or-Treating hours ended in Cashton Saturday, it couldn’t have happened at a better time at the Fanning house. By the time we turned off the front porch light and called it a day, we were down to just five pieces of candy left. Normally, we had plenty left at the end of the door to door, costumed callers celebration. I couldn’t help but wonder if we would have left our light on a bit longer had we not eaten some of it pre-Halloween.
