Outdoor activity in high demand
October 7, 2020
Last weekend was a near perfect one for enjoying some outdoor, fall adventures. Two area venues that saw good turnout were Maple Ridge orchard and Tucker and Becky’s Pumpkin Patch.
• At the pumpkin patch, the Gretebecks are in the process of rebuilding after the flood of 2018 washed away their painted barn and family friendly operation. They are still in the process of building back what was once a favorite destination for fall and Halloween enthusiasts. They are off to a solid start.
• On Sunday, Maple Ridge Orchard was a beehive of activity as vehicles lined the road on both sides. At the orchard, though, visitors were spread throughout the many acres of trees, making social distancing relatively natural.
