The Portland PTA meeting was well attended Friday evening. Miss Elma Sholes was the guest speaker. She talked about the school lunch program.

The high school baseball team defeated Ontario in extra innings, 9-7, last Thursday but bowed to Norwalk 8-3 Tuesday afternoon.
