After a recent state-wide and county-wide spike, new COVID cases on the decline

A spike of COVID-19 cases in Monroe county that occurred July 8-11 mirrored an increase state-wide, when the country saw a surge of 13 new cases on July 8 alone. July 10 and July 11 saw increases of 7 new cases each.
During a six-day stretch, from July 8 through July 13, 37 tests (23.6%) came back positive. During that same time 157 tests were performed.
Monday, July 13, the county saw it lowest confirmed cases since before July 4, when no new cases were reported on June 30.
