Conservation project directs Little La Crosse River back to original course

Years ago, there was a halfhearted, in jest comment made that old Cashton Sewer Plant was the source of the Little La Crosse River. That wasn’t far off.
An official United States Geological Survey (USGS) map indicates a point near the intersection of South and Charles Street in Cashton as the source of the class 1 trout stream, though it is not always water filled.
