Volunteers for the Cashton Area Fire District were called to a fire at around midnight Sunday morning, June 21, for a house fire just off Highway 33.

The department was at the scene a second time, after being called back around 7:30 a.m. when it was discovered the fire had flared up again.

The home, located on Magnum Road, in the Township of Portland was considered a complete loss due to fire and water damage.
