Tuesday, May 23, is the date set for a special referendum election on the matter of providing funds for floodlights and other improvements at Cashton’s new ball park.

The large plate glass windows in the Hundt Implement showroom were doing an accordion act most of the day due to high winds that hit the area Friday, before finally giving way. Almost every farmer in the area experienced loss of some sort.
