Elaine Helen (Olson) Willger

Elaine Helen (Olson) Willger, 75 years old, of Cashton, Wisconsin, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Sauk Prairie Healthcare in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, surrounded by her loving family.
Elaine attended Cashton High school in Cashton, WI, graduating in 1962. Elaine married Lawrence ‘Oscar’ Willger on October 19, 1968 and moved to Janesville, WI soon after. Although she held various positions, her primary occupation was homemaker and stay at home mom.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, decorating their home, garage sales, playing cards and writing poetry; even having several poems published.
Elaine is preceded in death by her husband Oscar, her parents Ora and Mable Olson, brothers Eugene Olson and Alan Olson, sister Joyce (Roy) Berge, sisters-in-law Marie Erickson and Anna Willger, brothers-in-law Martin (Lillian) Willger, Albert (Louise) Willger, Herman (Lois) Willger and Carlton Hansen.
She is survived by their 3 children, Tracy (Joe) Rademacher of Sauk City, WI, Kristine Willger of Kansas City, MO, and Robert (Kaye) Willger of Baraboo, WI; grandchildren, Alecia (Josh) Krueger of Merrimac, WI, Jessica Rademacher and Melissa Rademacher of Sauk City, WI, Justin Schmitz of Winona, MN, Heather Schmitz of Champaign, IL, Nikole Schmitz of Lewiston, MN, Kiara (Emre Ceyhan) Willger of Baraboo, WI, Kaleigh Willger of Eau Claire, WI and Jake Loper of Baraboo, WI; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Brooklyn and Charlotte Krueger; sisters Barbara Hansen of Cashton, Mary Olson (Jim Giles) of Lake Geneva, WI, and Donna McWaters of Neshcoro, WI; brothers David (Pat) Olson of Sierra Vista, AZ, Jerry (Terri) Olson of Marshfield, WI and Dennis (Sue) Olson, of Cashton, WI; brothers-in-law, Benny (Linda) Willger of Sparta, WI and Mike (Madonna) Willger of Janesville, WI; several nieces, nephews and many, many friends; she is also survived by her special dog, Trixie.
The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and the staff at Sauk Prairie Healthcare and SSM Health/Hospice for their care.
To respect the health of family and the community, Elaine’s family has decided to postpone her funeral service at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
