Cashton schools taking action to prepare for lengthy shutdown
March 18, 2020
All public and private school districts across the state were ordered suspend classes for at least two weeks amid the growing concerns of the recent Covid-19 virus outbreak. The decision to close schools came from Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers who, in an effort to slow the spread of the new Coronavirus, called for all K-12 schools in the state to halt classes today (Wednesday). The news follows recent closures of universities and public events across the state, and across the nation.
