Intergenerational story time to come to Cashton Library

January 22, 2020

An intergenerational story time called Forever Young will be held at Cashton Library on Wednesday, January 29th at 9:30am. This story time invites seniors and children (along with their parent or caregiver) to enjoy stories, songs, movies, crafts and other activities together.

Our first adventure will be to explore cartoons shown on the big screen. Andre Paquette will be on hand to share some cartoons from the past. Using a 16mm projector, he will show a variety of cartoons that date anywhere from the 1920’s through 2005. Afterwards, we will enjoy putting together a flip book similar to how a projector works. Andre and his wife Bonnie are the owners of Firefly Farm and Mercantile, which is helping with the Friends of the Library’s spring and summer bulb sale fundraiser. Bonnie, is the daughter of a film archivist and all things film supplier, a passion that is shared with Andre and their two children.

Forever Young Story Time is a program that will be held at Cashton Library on the last Wednesday of each month during story time sessions. For more information, contact the library at 654-5465.
