DNR Snowmobile Safety course to be offered in Cashton

December 24, 2019

It’s winter and in Wisconsin anyone born after 1/1/1985, but at least 12 years old, must take a DNR sponsored Snowmobile Safety Course in order to ride the trail system throughout the state. If you are under the age of 12 you can still take the course, but will not be certified to drive by yourself until you turn 12.

The DNR Safety Course will be offered in Cashton at the Cashton High School on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, December 27, 2019 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. You will need your DNR Customer # and MUST attend BOTH days in order to pass the course. The Cashton Snowblazers Snowmobile Club will provide the lunch on Friday.

The fee for the course is $10.00 per person. To register or for more information, contact Gerald Klinkner at 608-462-3006, Ann Klinkner at 608-487-5130 or Nick Brueggen at 608-633-0935. You can also register online thru the DNR website GoWild.com.
