Miss Cashton says farewell

By Emme Sanders, 2018 Miss Cashton
This past year as the 2018 Miss Cashton has flown by fast. It has been an honor representing Cashton not just this year but every year. I have learned more about our community and what it has to offer. Cashton is such an incredible community to grow up in and I feel lucky that I have had the opportunity to represent this wonderful town as Little Miss Cashton, Junior Miss Cashton and now Miss Cashton. This past year I have attended many community events and met many new people. This responsibility has helped me in many ways including confidently speaking in front of people and being more outgoing when meeting new people. Thank you to all the people who have helped me through this year. Thank you to my parents and all of the other parents for getting us to all of our events. A big thank you to Cathy Wendland who volunteered hours and hours of time to keep this program running each year. This has been a huge part of my life and I hope to see the pageant continue to inspire girls in our community.
