Earl and Len Martin announce that they have opened a hot dog stand on Highway 33, one mile north of Portland. They serve hot dogs, barbecues, ice cream, pop, candy, and cigarettes, and are open every day and every evening.

There will be a mobile tuberculosis x-ray unit in Cashton on August 8 and 9. The purpose of the unit is to provide free chest x-rays for all persons 18 years of age and older. Appearance of the mobile unit in Cashton is sponsored...
