Like seeing images of the Titanic laying on the ocean floor, the decay of an old barn can be sadly, stunning.
It’s like a romantic tragedy, the sight of an old barn being reclaimed by the woods, or being overgrown with vines and tall grass. There is something about the way the roof sags from decay, and the shingles are covered with moss. The history the building holds belongs, often times, to generations of family farmers.
