Week of Friday, June 17, 1949
The barn on the Leonard Urbanek farm was struck by lightning during the electrical storm Sunday at 7:15 p.m. The bold knocked down Mrs. Urbanek, nine cows and the dog. None feels ill effects except the dog. Mrs. Urbanek was ready to remove the milker from one of the cows when the lightning struck.
